CG Power CEO donates 750 Euro to VTI Sint Laurentius school in support of its ''Out and about with Technorentius project''.

Following this visit, CG Power donated a cheque for 750 Euro to the VTI in support of the ‘Op stap met Technorentius’ (Out and about with Technorentius’ project.

2008/2009

• Raised funds of $1000 for Cancer Research through a Saturday - Card Game.
   
• Held a luncheon to raise funds for Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
   
• A Corporate donations was made to the local community organization titled Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
   
• Participated in the fundraising event 'Biking to the Viking' to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

• Major Sponsor to the Andrew Dunn Foundation, which assist individuals from nearby community in dealing with depression.
   
• Participated in a Baseball Tournament with other companies and organization in Manitoba, to fundraise for Breast Cancer.
   

2010

• May 8th Participated in the Andrew Dunn's Society walk - a - thon, which helped to raise funds for individuals in the community who are dealing with depression

• May 27th Held a company BBQ and 50/50 draw, raising funds for the Childrens Hospital Cancer Ward of Winnipeg. The event raised $1636.50 for the foundation. May 2010

• August 28th Participated in the  "Biking to the Viking" fundraising event, raising funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

• Sept 12th The CG Power Dragonboat Team, "Lightning Bolts", competed against approx. 150 other teams to help raise funds for a great cause - Canadian Cancer Society. There were 2 great outcomes for the event, Overall, the event raised over $400,000 CAD to be used for cancer research, education and prevention. In addition to helping raise funds, our team also had a great showing coming in 3rd in our division!

• Collection of Funds for Tahiti Floods – Feb 2010 (Total: EUR 1,500). Donation was provided through UNICEF.
• Collection of Funds for Hungarian Flood – July 2010 (Total: EUR 3,000). ). Donation is provided through Equal Opportunity Health Organisation – Hungary.
• Juvenile football and handball teams (Namely : CG Electric TEAM) is sponsored permanently by CG in Hungary. (Sponsorship for youngsters association : EUR 5,000)

• Employees from the LT Motor Division of CG in Ahmednagar, have opted to donate money to a local orphanage that houses children from the street. The inhabitants of Saveli, receive donations in kind from the collections received. The employees also visit the orphanage on a regular basis to visit the children, celebrate family birthdays and identify the needs of the orphanage.
  
   

• Relief donation to Jogja Earthquake as many employees of PT CG Power Systems, Indonesia were victims of the catastrophe.
   
• Relief donations to Padang, West Sumatra, to support local governments efforts in disaster recovery of the communities.
  
   

• Cappagh Hospital working for research and development in orthopaedic careand rehabilitation. CG have set up an automatic wage deduction scheme which employees can sign up to donate money for this excellent cause.
   
• St. Vincent De Paul society works towards combatting poverty and an annual donation is made to the local branch each Christmas.
   
• Rhuama Charter: CG supports the Rhuama Charter working against violence andsexual exploitation of women by name and by donation.
   
• CG Ireland hosts Flag days for various charities on site.
   
• Recent other local sponsorships include the Breffini Challenge, Teenlineand the special Olympics.
   
• CG supports St. Luke's Hospital through our Christmas Card Purchase.
   
• Last year the employees raised €2161.55 for the Haiti Earthquake appeal which wasmatched by the company at EMEA level.
  
  
  
  
  
   

• Relay for Life (National fund raiser for cancer research) - Company sponsored a card tournament, motorcycle run and a silent auction. Employees also created and manned a booth at the event and raised $5,380.73 through their efforts. The Company served as event sponsor.
  
  
  
  
  
   
•  United Way--one community fundraiser that benefits over 20 local area organizations. Company sponsored group meetings, a weight-loss contest, a chilli-cooking competition, a silent auction & a yard sale to raise funds. The total amount raised was $22,615.76 (which includes the company's contribution of $5,000). The company was recognized at a ceremony and ranked 6th in the list of 30 companies that were recognized.
  
  
   
• The Unit collected movie videos and DVDs and donated them to a home for individuals with mental disabilities in the neighborhood.
   
• CG supports Loving Hearts through the local Girl Scouts in the vicinity who collect new and gently-used coats, gloves and warm wear, on their behalf.  Loving Hearts is a local organisation that provides immediate assistance (food, clothing and furniture) to individuals and families who have lost their jobs or their homes due to calamities such as fires, storms, etc.

• CG sponsored 4 employees in a fund raising event for 'ALIVE' - Alternative to Living in Violent Environments.  The benefactors of ALIVE are typically women who have been in abusive relationships and need a way to escape and rebuild their self-esteem and their lives.
