For Railways, our Power Systems group has been supplying Traction and Loco-transformers and our Industrial Systems group has been supplying Traction Motors, Alternators, Control Electrics, Signaling and Coach products.
Power System
Distribution Unit Substations  
  The CG Power Systems Unit Substation delivers maximum versatility in a fully metalclad distribution system using a galvanised underbase with transformer, HV switchgear ring main unit and LV 4,5 or 6 way fused distribution system.  
Gas Circuit Breakers  
  CG manufactures the widest range of Switchgear products to meet the requirements in distribution substations in industries.  
Industrial Fans  
  To provide ambient environment in industrial settings & effectively ventilate prospective noxious areas CG has powerful & tested industrial fans .  
Industrial Luminaires  
  CG has endeavoured to provide energy effective lighting for spaces designed for manufacturing and assembly tasks, warehouses, dusty environments such as cement plants.  
Industrial Pumps  
  CG Industrial Pumps are specially designed and developed to meet water requirements of various needs such as Industrial water supply,Water circulation for Cooling Towers in Air Conditioning Plants and Cold Storage Plants, Mild alkali handling, Hot water handling systems, Water pressure boosting for Industrial and Sprinkler Systems etc.  
Instrument Transformers -MV / HV / EHV / UHV  
  CG range of instrument transformers includes Current Transformers, Inductive Voltage Transformers and Capacitive Voltage Transformers. Our Instrument transformers have significantly contributed to the electricity boards and utilities across the globe.  
Locotransformers  
  The locotransformer is used for stepping down the volatge level required for motors used in the railway engines. This transformer has low dimension and weight limits. Height of the unit is reduced by mounting the active part horizontally.  
Special Transformers  
  Our special category transformers include customised trackside and loco transformers for the Railways and furnace transformers for Steel manufacturing plants.  
Surge Arresters  
  CG surge arresters incorporate ZE elements (Zn0 elements) with superior non-linear voltage-current characteristics, high quality and reliability.  
Trackside Power Transformers  
  The trackside power transformers are used for stepping down the volatge levels for the railway network.They are used to provide single phase supplies for train overhead systems

  Traction transformers used for stepping up the voltage levels for the railway networks  
Vacuum Circuit Breakers  
  CG is the largest manufacturer of indoor vacuum circuit breakers (VCB) as well as outdoor porcelain clad VCBs in India. We also offer outdoor metal clad VCBs (KIOSK).  
Industrial System
1 Phase Brushless Generator - LV  
  CG AC Generators are state-of-the-art, self-excited, self-regulated and dependable source of power.These generators incorporate advanced European Technology and are designed for optimum performance using high-end software solutions.  
3 Phase Brushless Generator - LV  
  CG offers range of brushless alternators from 5 kVA to 1000 kVA, catering to demands of power at the time of need. Our alternators are robust in design and excellent in performance thus becoming preferred choice in various user segments.  
Brushless DC Fans  
  BLDC (Brushless DC Motor) fans have been specially designed by the Research and Development Section at CG, to fulfill the needs of the Indian Railways. These fans are operated at 110 V DC. These are used in Railway coaches  
Control Electrics  
  CG offers different types of Control Panel sets for controlling of various kinds of locomotives.  
Data Logger  
  The Data Logger has been specifically designed by CG to fulfill the needs of Indian Railways. Data Logger is an electronic system, which monitors and logs all signalling related digital and analog data.  
Electric Point Machines  
  CG`s Point Machines are designed to fulfill the strict requirements of safety and reliability for operation of points. It is operated electrically and incorporates an internal point lock and detection mechanism.  
Railway Signaling & Coach Applications  
  CG`s Rail Transportation Systems Division of was created to cater to the diverse requirements of Indian Railways. The division supplies equipments for Railway Electrification, Rolling Stock & Signaling Systems.  
Signaling Relays  
  CG offers a wide range of Q SERIES RAILWAY SIGNALLING RELAYS to meet all types of Signal Circuit Applications such as Route Relay Interlocking, Panel Interlocking, Automatic Signalling, Point Operation and Track Circuiting etc.  
Traction Alternators  
  CG manufactures a wide range of Traction Alternators (both Static & Brushless) for all Diesel Locomotives.  
Traction Motors AC  
  CG offers a wide range of AC motors for traction application with very high operational efficiency & power to weight ratio.  
Traction Motors DC
