CG Lighting, Baroda, was recently the proud recipient of the "Empower Award 2009" in the category of "Market Impact - Fluorescent Tube Lights ".

CG bagged the "Silver Award" for its energy efficient Tube lights. The award was presented jointly by Urjavaran Foundation and International Copper Promotion Council (India).

This is CG`s 3rd award at the National Level in the last 2 years for its Energy Efficient Tube Lights. The first two were from the Ministry of Power.

The award was presented by Shri Bharatsinh Solanki,Hon`ble Former Minister of State – Power, Government of India.
