CG was the first to develop and introduce IRS type point machine with RDSO. We are also one of the pioneer in the manufacturing of electric point machine 143 mm, 220 mm & 175mm (Trailable and Non-Trailable Type).

Electric Point Machines are used for operation of points. It is operated electrically and incorporates an internal point lock and detection mechanism. Specification compliance of Indian Railway Spec (IRS: S24/2002).

    • Independent external locking for Normal and Reverse Position of Switch.
    • Factory set friction clutch is provided for overload protection.
    • Detection and Controlling Contacts are of Heavy duty and Self wiping type.
    • Dual locking (Internal and external) is provided in 220mm throw point machine.
    • Crank handle interlocking for safe operation in case of power failure.
    • External clamp lock ensures and proves the proper setting of switch rail against stock rail.
