Auxiliary Supply Panel (HB1, HB2, Filter Cubicle) consist of completely wired contactors, circuit breaker etc. Auxiliary Supply Panel is used for controlling and protection of Compressor, Blowers, Light, Fan, Auxiliary Converter Traction Converter and other related accessories inside the Locomotive.

The Auxiliary circuits, cubicle -1 (HB1), The Auxiliary circuits, cubicle -2 (HB2), HB1 and HB2 control the input to several auxiliary assemblies of the locomotive like machine room blower, compressors, crew fan, cab heater etc. Auxiliary Supply Panel is used for controlling and protection of Compressor, Blowers, Light, Fan, Auxiliary Converter Traction Converter and other related accessories inside the Locomotive.

Filter Cubicle (FB) is a panel with surge arrester, current sensor, contractor, capacitor etc. It control filtering high frequency harmonics induced from the primary of the main transformer.

    • Equipped with switchgear for battery charger, DC-DC converter, earth fault, fire detection etc.
